Whittier – Embarkation
Whittier is the gateway to Prince William Sound. You'll be collected from Anchorage airport and before you know it you'll be enjoying a glass of fizz as you take a tour of Safari Explorer, your home for the next week, and meeting your crew.

Icy Bay Glaciers
You'll wake up surrounded by Chenega, Tigertail, and Tiger glaciers on the glacial waterway of Icy Bay. Weave through the deserted islands by kayak, skiff, and yacht.

Captain's Choice
Depending on conditions your Captain and expedition crew will decide where to explore today. There are dozens of bays and quiet coves in this area. Search for whales, seals, sea lions, and seabirds from the bow or opt to kayak or beachcomb for a closer look at island life with natural and cultural history notes from your guides.

Cordova
Head out for a hike below Sheridan Glacier this morning with the afternoon earmarked for wandering the streets of Cordova. Cordova is a tiny fishing town at the mouth of the Copper River with a population of 2,300 - with no roads it is only accessible by air or water.

Columbia Glacier & Valdes
Hike, kayak, skiff, or try your hand at standup paddle boarding in a quiet cove before a hearty lunch back onboard. Winding its way 32 miles back through Chugach Mountains and with constantly changing conditions, your captain finds the best route to view the Columbia Glacier in the afternoon.

Unakwik Inlet & Meares Glacier
Unakwik Inlet is a magical spot with bald eagles on the air, arctic terns and the vast Meares Glacier as a backdrop. Cruise through Esther Passage marvelling at the mountains.

College Fjord & Barry Arm
The astounding scenery continues with playful sea otters lazing on beds on kelp and cheeky puffins drumming their wings overhead. This is a grand finale indeed - what a place!

Whittier Disembarkation
One last breakfast with new friends before your coach transfer from Whittier along Turnagain Arm on your way back to Anchorage. Then transfer back to the Anchorage airport.
